Just a Quirk?

They called a change in wind direction “a quirk of nature”. How many times have the enemies of Israel said the same thing? Those who despise Israel’s birthright never seem to learn.

Your “quirk of nature” is the Living God.

The direction of the wind not only thwarted the kites, but also blew copious amounts of Israeli tear gas and smoke from the burning tires toward the protesters, chasing many away.

Serve Self?

Let common sense rule.

Every servant serves a master. He who serves himself is no servant at all. Doesn’t he make himself his own domain; King and the subjects over which he rules. Can anyone say “folly”? And no servant is allowed to serve two masters, such a man will not serve either one with integrity.

We are servants to the one we obey. Fidelity is the target. Either a man serves chaos or seeks, with all he has, to serve purity.

Religious. 😠

It doesn’t matter if they call you religious. So are they. The world worships satan, and thinks themselves free. They look down on anyone who loves God. While they honor false religions and lies, they detest those who are learning to love the righteousness of Christ.

Don’t be known as religious man. Your religion is the spawn of your faith. In its self, your religion is worthless (no matter who you serve). It is the Christ who teaches you who is important.

Practice

John 3:21 mentions those who “practice“ the truth. In our vocabulary practicing means pretty much taking a stab at something. “Well I hope this works out.” But there are quite a few different meanings to the word practice that are worth examining. Let the readers decide for themselves which words best reflect God‘s intention. The numbers after each word or how many times they occur in the Bible.

Destroyed From Within

Sitting here this morning thinking of the things in America. I am amazed. That the voices of divisive ignorance are so loud. I am astounded. That there are so many who agree with this divisiveness. They say yes to the “spinners”. The leaders do not fear death, they fear the volume of stupidity.

Still, the destroyer is not satisfied. For America still has soundness in her bones.

It is like the garden that was planted is being overrun with fools whose hands are full of seeds from weeds. What they are planting is not edible and it surely chokes out the food.

I just shake my head in dismay. The streets are becoming populated with screaming insanity. The homes are divided before the child is born. Righteous wisdom is refused.

What then is to be the outcome?

When?

One day you make an unexpected friend of a previous enemy. It’s happened to everyone of us.

When will we learn? When will we stop pre-judging? When will we give room for the hope of God in others? When will we forgive past deeds so that life can come?

From where comes your next unexpected friend? Life never comes to us as we expect it to be painted. Yet, when will we learn what we already know?

Be wise in Christ toward evil, but do not close the door to hope.
