The Beginning of the Last Days

Keep them all guessing. Feed the imagination with lies. See how they call it entertainment. Fantasy supersedes reality.

Keep them busy with “nothing“, whilst they ignore the truth of God.

Let them believe in aliens and watch men challenge restraints while they throw away the only truth there is.

Let them ignore the only truth there is. For they have chosen the way of death.

Let them believe in good works. Let them believe that man has the ultimate command upon himself, “save the world“. With that they pay no attention to the grace of God.

Is there a price to pay? It’s already being extracted. And there is no gain left for them to receive.

A Resolution

Resolutions to change usually die on January 2. Well this is February 6.

A resolution is not a state of mind, where by we make some empty pledge to become something. In that case, a resolution is no more than the job description of a hypocrite.

A resolution is a commitment to a higher state of mind than we could possibly own. It’s a mind of a hero. It’s the mind of someone vastly greater than we.

Remember when you decided to follow Jesus. Remember the mind you had; a determination to make change by building a foundation with the shovel he gave you. You believed his pledge to guide your every move. So can you tell yourself what happened? Do you know where you laid that shovel? Are you willing to go get it and pick it up again?

No foundation is built in a day. Every foundation is built one shovel load at a time. Resolve to retrieve the shovel. Resolve to walk back to the line he drew for you. Resolve to dig. Resolve toward calluses (on your hands and kneecaps).

Our goal is not the peak of the roof. It’s simply the next shovel load.

I don’t care what happened to you. I don’t care how old you are. I can’t care how long you will live here in this world. But we can care that he receives what is rightfully his.

Resolve to be resolved.

Choose

The process of becoming the Christian you want to be is to stop being the Christian you presently are.

Think and choose. Remember and apply. Stop simply reacting to emotion. Stop staring at circumstances.

The Spirit of Christ does not live in the flesh. He is in heaven and from heaven.

Think Eternity. Look at Him. Listen to what you see. Don’t bother to look at your failings. Since when have they delivered you any profit?

Set your mind and your soul on Christ. You will only prosper as much as you make that your life.

Something

If we were nothing we would deserve it. If we suffered hideous disease for 80 years what claim do we have to anything else?

But we are something, undeniably. By breathing we disrupt the air. By seeing, speaking, hearing, and the like, we aid in righteous judgment.

It is impossible for someone to be nothing. Unplausible that anyone should be worthless. So if we are something, what then are we?

We are potential. At best, waiting for Christ to do his Father’s work on us and through us. Then, on the day of his great glory, to be displayed as living trophies of his love.

Believing Christ, trusting Christ, despising the lies, happily searching for his beautiful face. This makes us eternally SOMETHING.

Limp Noodle

Are you facing a fearful task? Try to remember how many you faced. Take notice that you’re still here. The only way to face something fearful is to move into it one step at a time. You won’t know how it turns out until you go through it.

Face life with a joyful valor. What use is it to be a whimpering limp wet noodle?

Do you have faith in Christ Jesus? PROVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Make me

No one can make me hate.

No one can fill my mouth with hateful words.

No one can cause me to incite another to violence.

All of that is in my own heart.

Control of that lives in my own heart.

Even if my mind tells me to agree with all those evil things, my mind also reminds me not to do them.

No one can make you mad. it’s a choice you willingly make to vent your own frustrations.

All these things are true. When will we start to do them?
