Value

Value. Such an underestimated foe. Such an underestimated friend.

Value is perceived from where we are. But memory and hope are unique perspectives of their own. They are shadows and sunshine to an otherwise grey and obscure life.

If we are only people of the present then we are pitiful indeed. And if as a “present” people, we are locked in the things that were, we are more than pitiful. Then we live as if we are mortally struck with horror that tomorrow will be like all the rest of our days have been. Thus many live their lives void of any hope.

But time is not complete without what will be. What will you be is the driving source of life. It is hope. We cannot be complete without hope. The greater the hope the more vibrant the life.

Without Christ we can only hope that we will somehow survive each day. But with his promise we are infinitely more and set free to live.

In a variety of ways God has said this, “In my son, what I have been is yours, what I am is yours, what will yet be is yours”.

The enemy wants to lock you in hopelessness. He tears at your mind, heart, body and soul by distracting you with futility. “Lock them in uselessness, lest they look up and be released.”

Look up. Fix your whole being on the promises of God. Let yourself be consumed with Christ Jesus. Be released.

The Temple

How the relentless wind blows; chilling the bones and securing the approaching season’s home.

Plowing the earth for snow’s foundation. The blinding white temple will be built, regardless man’s desire for Spring.

The Gospel blows upon the earth, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful in all its Holy intent; chilling all souls and preparing for the approaching season of eternity.

The plow rips the ground. The foundation of Lovely is established. The blinding white temple will be built, regardless Man’s desire for Spring.

The reason for turmoil is exposed. Who is wise? Who prepares for Winter?

Beyond Us

We all know that it is easy to sing praise to God when the good things are in our hands. Blessed is he who sings when his hands are full of trouble. For such is a kin to Christ as he bowed to sweat blood drops in the garden.

Wealth has its own reward, but faith in The Promise of HE WHO IS exceeds the vocabulary of Man.

Practice

John 3:21 mentions those who “practice“ the truth. In our vocabulary practicing means pretty much taking a stab at something. “Well I hope this works out.” But there are quite a few different meanings to the word practice that are worth examining. Let the readers decide for themselves which words best reflect God‘s intention. The numbers after each word or how many times they occur in the Bible.

Seek HIM!

Fake news, worthless ranting, irritating prophecy, spiritual carpetbaggers? Judge for yourself, the nature of what is today.

It is man’s worthless idea that the earth should be full of peace and tranquility. Look around, has it ever been true? Christ even told his select people that in this world they would have great trouble. How should it be better for those who will not except Christ’s Authority over them?

As bad as things are in the world today, it WILL get greatly worse.

Do not wait until you are face-to-face with The Living God.

Baptism

I was rightly convinced decades ago. Reverence for Jesus, the fear of God, (in the book of acts, in the first century) was not at all like Christianity today. The people were not baptized as a beginning of their Christian walk. They were baptized because they were "walking".

They were not baptized because they believed the message of the gospel. They were baptized as a sign and seal that they were living the Gospel.

How does that compare to what you have witnessed?
